Wesley Chapel is committed to the development of believers and followers of Christ throughout the world. In addition to your financial support, below is a list of opportunities for you to get involved in some local outreach projects. To volunteer for any of these activities, please contact us.

Local Ministry Opportunities

Stewpot - Contact: Lauren Dove

  • Assist with lunch 11:00 am, Mon-Fri
  • Sort clothes and food 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, Mon-Fri
  • Work on Saturdays by appointment

Ronald McDonald House - Contact: Tippy Garner

  • Assist families with assigned cleaning chores providing more time with their children.
  • Bring an evening meal to families.
  • Donate items such as stationary, stamps, etc.
  • Volunteer to help with maintenance needs

The Hope House - Contact: Wanda Pitts

  • Meet patient needs: Activities (crafts, games, etc), magazines, books, stationary, comfortable clothing such as sweat suits, phone cards, small radios with headphones.
  • Lead in a Bible Study on Tuesday or Thursday
  • Assist with transportation to and from hospitals, doctors, store, pharmacy as need (use your own vehicle or ours)
  • Assist with daily house cleaning (preferably in the am between 8:00-10:00, Wed – Fri)
  • Provide fruit, goodies/snacks
  • Be a prayer partner, a buddy, someone willing run errands as needed
  • Visit those in the hospital as needed
  • Assist with lawn maintenance and landscaping needs
  • Prepare a home cooked meal for 8-10 persons for Tuesday or Wednesday evenings (They want a potluck night of home-cooked food. This meal could be dropped off or join their guests for dinner)
  • Assist with all ongoing maintenance

Habitat for Humanity - Contact: Erica Turner

  • Starting a new house in mid-April – they will need help with everything from the ground up
  • Starting another new house in mid-May – they will need help with everything from the ground up
