Leadership Equipping and Discipleship (LEAD)
The LEAD Initiative (Leadership Equipping and Development) is the ongoing process of raising up effective, Spirit-filled, competent leaders throughout the body for the mission to which the church is called. LEAD aims to provide the theological & biblical training, spiritual formation, administrative and organizational training, and relationship-centered people skills appropriate for helping the members of the body fulfill their God-given destiny.
LEAD incorporates the following areas of congregational life:
- adult education
- discipleship / formation
- leadership training
- small group / Sunday School ministry
Wesley Chapel Growth Groups
Wesley Chapel is committed to the growth of the whole Christian person. To that end, those who are interested may join a Growth Group. Growth Groups consist of 8-12 people who make a covenant to (1) meet together for fellowship, nurture, sharing and study in order to develop spiritual friendships and deeper intimacy with God; (2) reach out to new people at Wesley Chapel and assimilate them into the life of the group; and (3) serve others in the community. If you are interested in joining one of the groups described below, or starting another group, please contact us.
- Sunday Evening Group meets weekly at 6:30 in the Flache Room at WBS; intergenerational.
- Sunday Evening Group meets bi-weekly in homes; 20’s – 30’s
- Tuesday Evening Group meets bi-weekly in homes; intergenerational
- Thursday Evening Group meets weekly in homes; intergenerational
- Developing Morning Group; time and place to be determined; intergenerational
Sunday School Classes (Sundays, 9:00am)
- Adult Class meets Upstairs in Classroom 240
- Faith Forest Children's Ministry, Children's Wing
- Youth Sunday School, Room 231.
